The Student Relation Office (SRO) spearheads the planning and administration of student welfare programs and coordinates extra-curricular activities of the different student organizations of the college. The office is headed by the SRO Coordinator with the faculty advisers of the different CHE student organizations as members. It guides and facilitates plans and solutions to problems, needs and issues concerning students. Serving as a link of the CHE administration to the student body, it promotes students' social and intellectual development towards the attainment of College and University goals.
There are nine officially recognized organizations in the College of Home Economics, namely: CHE Student Council (CHESC), Association of Clothing Technology Students (ACTS), Circle of Home Economists (CHE), UP Design Core (UPDC), Family Life and Child Development Circle (FLCD Circle), Philippine Association of Food Technologists - Alpha Chapter (PAFT-Alpha), Philippine Association of Nutrition - Alpha Chapter (PAN-Aplha), UP Society of Hotel and Restaurant Progress (UP SHARP), Leaders for Excellence, Action and Development - College of Home Economics (LEAD CHE). While these are officially recognized student organizations in the CHE, they comply with university rules for annual renewal and official recognition. Each CHE student organization maintains utmost loyalty to the University's tradition of academic excellence and service to the country. These ideals are manifested though the organizations' various activities for career development and in community extension projects.
