Tina Zamora

Teacher Tina is a directress of Nest School for Whole Child Development in Quezon City. She earned her degree in Master of Family Life and Child Development from the College of Home Economics, University of the Philippines. Her graduate thesis was “Philosophy and Program Practices of Progressive Preschool Owners.” An advocate of progressive education, she maintains a blog entitled, “What is progressive school? Francie Castañeda-Lacanilao

Also known as Teacher Francie, she graduated in BS Family Life and Child Development from the College of Home Economics, University of the Philippines. Since then, she has devoted more than 40 years in early childhood education. She is the owner of a progressive school, The Learning Tree Child Growth Center, found in Cubao, Quezon City. A trainer in early childhood education, her expertise includes creative musical experiences for young children, classroom management and discipline, and school administration and supervision.
