Demetria C. Bongga

Demetria C. Bongga finished a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics degree major in Nutrition (1962) as well as a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition (1968), both from the University of the Philippines-College of Home Economics in Diliman, Quezon City. She also completed a one-year dietetic internship at UP-PGH (1963), obtained a Diploma in an International Course on Food Science and Nutrition from the Netherlands (1973) and then went on to earn a Ph. D. in International Nutrition from Cornell University in New York, USA (1982).

Ms. Ma. LiwaywayTavora-Mateo

As Corporate Unit Head, Ms. Mateo provides over-all strategic directions, management and consultancy services to the JFC Strategic Business Units in accordance with their specific needs and priorities on Quality Management Systems, Food Safety, Customer Experience Management, Knowledge Management among others. Corporate QM formulates and sets quality standards, policies, systems and procedures, and it ensures that the JFC restaurants and supply chain operations are compliant to country regulations and statutory requirements.

Dr. Miflora M. Gatchalian

Dr. Miflora M. Gatchalian (MMG) graduated in 1959 from the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman with a degree of BS Food Technology. She earned her Ph. D from University of Tokyo under the JSPS Program. Dr. Miflora M. Gatchalian is a Fellow of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and is a Life Member and Secretary-General Emeritus of the Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO). To honor her contributions, the APQO annually awards the “Miflora M.
