Shane Nicole Rubio, a senior in the BS Interior Design program, has won the Gold Award at the AYDA Awards 2024, standing out among the Top Ten Finalists selected by a distinguished panel of judges. With this achievement, she will represent the Philippines at the competition’s regional level in Tokyo, Japan.
Her winning project, Project Agkat, aims to promote sustainable food systems and foster community dining experiences for the Yangil Tribe in Zambales. This initiative highlights the role of design in social impact and sustainability.
