Office of Graduate Studies

The Office of Graduate Studies, headed by the OGS coordinator, serves as the coordinator of graduate-related matters in the College. Its main functions include: 

  1. To disseminate information about graduate-related concerns and activities. 
  2. To note or endorse student admission forms; requests for deferment; approval forms related to thesis, dissertation, and oral examinations; MRR and readmission requests; and other graduate-related requests.
  3. To facilitate thesis/dissertation grant requests. 
  4. To conduct a graduate orientation at least once a year.
  5. To coordinate meetings and other activities related to graduate concerns (i.e. MRR cases, special requests, appeals).
