In compliance with memorandum No. PAEP 13-09 entitled “Improving the UP Information System and Increasing Institutional Visibility for the University of the Philippines,” the Office of the Chancellor (OC) and the UP Diliman Information Office (UPDIO) facilitated the appointment of Chief Information Officers (CIO) of the different Vice Chancellor Offices and Academic Clusters starting July 1, 2014.

Since then, the CIOs had been integral in generating and disseminating quality information on their units’ initiatives and programs which they post on their own website, ans share with the UPDIO for print and online publishing.
