In compliance with memorandum No. PAEP 13-09 entitled “Improving the UP Information System and Increasing Institutional Visibility for the University of the Philippines,” the Office of the Chancellor (OC) and the UP Diliman Information Office (UPDIO) facilitated the appointment of Chief Information Officers (CIO) of the different Vice Chancellor Offices and Academic Clusters starting July 1, 2014.

During the term of Dean Joanne Bantang in 2026, the committee on information has been elevated as the Office of Communications and Information Management, amplifying the college’s visibility through strategic dissemination of initiatives and programs, while simultaneously ensuring integrity by institutionalizing data privacy culture and navigating the transparent disclosure of information protocols.
